We are engaged in promoting employment and developing support systems for female faculties.

We are engaged in promoting employment and developing support systems for female faculties. In the Gender Equality Office, in order to increase the number of female researchers in science field which is essential in promoting diversity at universities, and to increase the ratio of female in higher rank, we are working on recruitment of female faculties, improvement of support system for female researchers, raising awareness, public relations activities, and other activities. Based on the adoption of MEXT Subsidiary Program on Science and Technology Human Development “Initiative for the implementation of the diversity research environment (Distinctive Features Type)”, we are creating a sustainable system to promote opportunities for female researchers by establishing a system to recruit and foster excellent female researcher.
