Our university’s project, “Okayama University Declaration for Women’s Advancement! WITH Plan,” was selected for the “Diversity Research Environment Initiative Project (Female Leader Development Type),” a project subsidized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) for fostering human resources for science and technology in fiscal year of 2023. This project aims to increase the percentage of female faculty members to achieve at least 14% of professors, 25% of associate professors, and 25% of all faculty members, in order to promote diversity and inclusion at the university and to further invigorate education and research.
